A short stroll through the Haworth church graveyard at the top of the cobbled Main Street and you'll be on top of the world. Spectacular views over the moors will not disappoint. You can continue your walk to Bronte Waterfalls this way.

Glorious hill of moor land just 10 minutes walk from Haworth. With tracks for walks, great for Dogs, with far reaching views across the moors and over Stanbury Reservoir. You can just see the solitary tree of Top Withins below the far horizon. Beautiful Views. ( take the path at the back of the Church, follow it past the car park, then turn right up the track, across the road at the top is Penistone Hill.)

Sweeping views and magical moorland. Just a short walk or drive from Haworth, Penistone Hill derives it's name from the gambling game Gamepenny Stone, it is known that men from the local quarries would gather here to gamble over this game. What this game actually entailed is well-debated (come up with your own ideas or ask around to see if you can discover more maybe) but what we do know is that partaking in the game often resulted in being brought before the local magistrate for playing on the highway or even for playing on a Sunday. A pleasant couple of hours can be spent here morning, afternoon or evening.
