You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Literally, a 1-4 minute walk to Mercy Hospital(formerly Southeast Hospital), less than 1 mile to Southeast University Campus, along with downtown(river). A street over is Broadway with many restaurants. Walmart Market and Dollar General are also conveniently located nearby. The kitchen is fully furnished with cooking utensils, clean towels, pots and pans for those who prefer eating in. Please no animals and no smoking in the apartment.

Double Murphy bed, queen hide a bed couch convert the living room to bedroom. Space is good for up to 3 adults, 2 adults and 2 children or a single guest. We accept well mannered dogs up to 50 pounds. We do not accept CATS. Like cats but they cause additional clean up. See pets section for dog guest guidelines.
