A traditional fisherman’s house known as “sirma”, where a huge door on the lower part of the house protected the boat. one room with a double bed, a second room with two single beds, kitchen, bathroom and balcony right above the sea. Kalesma - Mandrakia House

Kalesma is located in a small fishing village called Mandrakia on the north side of the island, near the famous "moonscape" beach of Sarakiniko, 4.4 km from the port of Milos and 8 km from Airport. Peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The house consists of one room with a double bed, a second room with a double bed and a sofa which becomes a single bed, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and two verandas with beautiful sea-views of the village of Mandrakia. A/C and free wifi provided.

Our house is part of the 16th cent. Castle of Kimolos and was renewed with respect for tradition. It is a bioclimatic building, with 1m thick stone walls and 4m high ceilings, double roof insulation and small openings that let the air circulate. Fully equipped kitchen, fast internet and a work place (desk, office chair, 27" monitor) for those who cannot leave their work. The house is in the middle of the village, just 1 km away from the port and 3 km away from the clean sandy beaches.

Μόλις 7 λεπτά (5.4km) από το κεντρικό λιμάνι του νησιού(Αδάμαντας), 5 λεπτά(3.4km) απο το αεροδρόμιο του νησιού, και λίγα λεπτά μακριά από διάσημες παραλίες του νησιού.

The house is located in a quiet location with a breathtaking view and, at the same time, 10 minutes walk away from taverns, shops, supermarkets, banks etc. Moving around: In a 5 minutes walking distance there is a bus stop. By car, it is a 6 minutes drive to Sarakiniko (the moon beach), 7 minutes drive to the port and 15 to the airport. We're also very close to Plaka village (the capital of Milos) and Mandrakia fishing village.
