The Sleepout

Quiet location with a short walk for elevated views over Mercury Bay, Whitianga Harbour, Flaxmill Bay, Shakespears Cliff and Cooks Beach. Six minute drive to the centre of town, close enough to enjoy the local attractions of Whitianga and surrounding Coromandel. Take a short walk to take in the views over Wharekaho beach or follow the paths to take you to the beach.

Our super cute coastal home offers comfort and tranquillity - summer or winter! Enjoy spectacular ocean views and also lush farmland. Explore the walks, beaches and scenery that Coromandel has to offer, or snuggle up indoors with our movies, books and games. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a hoiday meal - a range of appliances, pantry basics and condiments. Simpsons beach is just across the road, and Whitianga’s shops, cafes, and restaurants are just a 5-minute drive away.

Quail Cottage

A beautiful loft-style cottage on a private property only moments from Cooks Beach. Take in the serenity of this coastal Hamptons style space, complete with a kitchenette, ensuite, lounge area and private deck. Here you can relax and enjoy a drink overlooking the landscaped gardens, with only the native quail birdsong and ocean waves to be heard. Set in a quiet location, local restaurants, convenience stores, tennis courts and nature reserves are all within an easy walking distance.

Cooks Beach Studio Escape

Renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. Complete with kitchenette, located in the same space as bedroom (see pics) seperate bathroom across a small covered gangway and outdoor furniture on the rear of our reserve front property just a 2 min walk from the beach. Cozy on Cook (Back of Property)

BACK OF PROPERTY – Cozy on Cook Enjoy a quiet, self-contained studio at the back of the property, offering a more secluded stay with a private enclosed deck. Just a short walk to the hot mineral Lost Springs and the town centre and waterfront. Kuaotunu's hideaway- Peebles Cottage

We are a a mature married couple and our boutique holiday cottage is along side our home. We seek to offer you a personal and helpful service for your stay with us here in Kuaotunu. Studio with a View

Our Studio room opens onto a paved terrace with views over the ocean. The studio is well equipped with kitchenette, table & chairs, armchairs, separate shower & bathroom, separate toilet. There is a barbecue for cooking and an outside covered space. We supply a simple breakfast of muesli, yoghurt and milk. If you are dairy free and require something different please let me know. The pool and spa overlook the ocean and have amazing views.

Twin Palms self contained accommodation

Self contained stand alone accommodation in quiet street, parking right outside the unit. Close to estuary, an easy 15 minute flat walk to main street. Open plan living measuring 7m x 5.3m with queen sized bed. Living area, spacious bathroom, towels and soap provided. Kitchenette has sink, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwhich maker, fridge, jug, bistro style table and chairs. Coffee, tea, milk, and sugar supplied.

Bush studio apartment

Self-contained apartment in a unique, artist-designed house: a beautiful studio with lovely new bathroom, situated in the hills above Kuaotunu, surrounded by NZ native forest. Enjoy sitting on the deck, under giant fern trees, listening to birdsong and the gurgling of the stream. If you're lucky you'll even hear our resident Kiwi calling! A place to relax and recharge only 3 minutes drive to Kuaotunu village and beach.

Private with pool access, Simpsons beach

*pool access upon request* A private & modern room + en-suite seperate to the main house built in 2020 in a new subdivision. 15 minutes pathed walkway to Simpson’s beach (our favourite) , 6 minutes drive to Whitianga. On street car parking available, with private access seperate from house. Small outdoor deck with a private fence with a rural outlook. DUE TO HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS THERE IS NO POOL ACCESS.
