You’ll love our place because of its quiet location on a country estate: from here you can walk, golf, sightsee, in winter go up and ski at Glenshee; head to Edinburgh (1hr by train) and Glasgow, eat in fabulous restaurants or stay and cook in our well-equipped kitchen. Our comfortable, cleverly-designed Blackdown Shepherd Hut is on a hillside, with lovely views, stretching to the Firth of Forth and beyond. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, whilst in easy reach of the best Fife has to offer! Everything you need for a delicious breakfast is provided - eggs from our hens and ducks, locally-produced Puddledub bacon or veggie sausages if you prefer, bread from a local bakery, butter, jam. You'll also find coffee, tea, and milk in the Hut.
