Studio with a view!!!!

Our home is on a quiet 3 acre property just 5 miles from town. We have vegetable gardens, fruit orchards and dozens of berry bushes. We have amazing views of the Olympic Mountains and our neighbor is a lavender farm! The studio apartment is a bright, sunny place which is attached to our home, but has its own entrance. It's a wonderful venue for visitors to the area being close to both the water and the mountains and the lavender farms. We are a short ferry ride to both Victoria and Seattle.

Located in the foothills of the Olympics, Shippen's Cabin offers the comforts of home in a wilderness retreat. The cabin is an ideal location to base your hiking adventure, or simply come to enjoy some time away from the city while exploring the area's many attractions. Relax after a long day on the trail with a hot sauna or a meal on the deck and enjoy the wilderness setting, often visited by local wildlife. High speed WiFi is available for those that need to stay connected during their stay.

The Studio

The Studio is a very private guest house created from a former art studio, elegantly furnished with a country flair. Located in a farm area, this is a perfect getaway location - convenient to lavender farms, beaches, and mountains, yet less than 10 minutes from downtown Sequim. The property features a private gated entrance, mountain view, fenced and landscaped yard, and ample parking. A bank of Cypress trees provides afternoon shade, and there is a fireplace to cozy up to on chilly evenings.

It also has a full kitchen, full-sized washer and dryer, and a living room that includes an air mattress sofa/sleeper. It sits on a five-acre lot with private access to the Olympic Discovery Trail for your biking and hiking pleasure. You can use us as a base to explore the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park. The Dungeness River Nature Center is within easy walking distance.

We are just on the outskirts of town, far away enough for a country feel and close enough to go grab a quick bite to eat. We are in a quiet family neighborhood and a few minutes off HWY 101, super easy to hop on or off the main road. Hurricane Ridge, Dungeness Spit, Lavender Farms galore are a short drive away. So much to explore and do here.
