Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. The modern studio accommodates a couple and a child with the comfort of country life. Let yourself be absorbed by this environment.

Em casa não existe rede telefónica o que torna a estadia mais especial, no entanto dispõe de Wifi. Ideal para um retiro longe da asáfama do dia-a-dia e do stress citadino. Unique and quiet. Private pool from May1st until October15th. Pateo with stunning views and outside fireplace for Fall and Winter. At the foothills of S. Mamede sierra natural Park , next to small village of Escusa, in a lovely valley between the must-see villages of Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Modern lodge in a week-end farm. Resting, walking, reading, sun, shade, having a bath. Breathing fresh air and sleeping better. Also great for remote work. Possible laundry service.

Dornes possui ainda um belíssimo Santuário e uma Torre Templária pentagonal de que não se conhece mais exemplares no país. Foi precisamente nesta torre que o hino nacional “A Portuguesa” foi composto. A Casa da Saudade é o refúgio perfeito para as suas férias.
