Porthmeor beach cafe is located right on the beach in front of the Tate gallery. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Great food and the best spot to watch the sunset.
Also "west" take away on the far side of the beach also serves great pizza and is a more casual spot great for early evenings in the summer if you fancied a good take away to have on the beach.

Penzance is a great town just a 15 minuet drive away with lots of shops and a lovely long promenade. Views out to St Michaels mount and the Jubilee pool are definitely worth the journey.

A tiny ancient village just outside of St Ives. Park at the Tinners pub car park and go for a walk down to the coast. Once back in Zennor treat yourself to a Moomaid ice cream or head to the pub for a pint

Their aren't many indoor children's play areas in St Ives and around St Ives but the beach can still be great fun even in the worst weather. Its always a good idea to bring waterproofs so that you can go seal spotting and rock pooling down on the beaches

St Ives (along with the rest of Cornwall) is incredibly busy from easter right up until October and i always advise guests to book restaurants and cafes in advance to avoid disappointment.

Avoid driving thru St Ives town centre
The streets are vary narrow and their are lots of pedestrians during the peak season so its best to leave the car parked up and walk thru the town.
