A cute, green neighbourhood with Victorian-style houses and quaint coffee shops filling it's streets. Head to Haas in Newlands Village for a delicious cup of coffee, Newbury Cafe for breakfast or Barristars or Foresters Arms for a proper South African pub dining experience and to catch a game of rugby.

Bree Street and Kloof street are in close proximity to each other and house the bustly heart of Cape Town nightlife. Cool restaurants and hip bars line the streets. Visit the no.1 rated ice-cream shop in the world - Unframed, grab bagels from Jason's bakery and your morning cuppa from hipster Clarkes. Cheers to new friends in the Secret Gin Bar close by and celebrate a birthday at the world-renowned Honest Chocolate Cafe (there's also a new spot above called Melting Pot which we highly recoomend! Kloof Street House and Asoka are other vibey spots and if you're in for something more casual Yours Truly is also busy. The Athletic & Social Club and VIXI House are also new to the scene and come highly recommended. Thali's for Thai is our last favourite - but there are so many to choose from!

Go for an early morning dip at Beta beach and coffee at Bootleggers, or even better pack a picnic and catch one of the breath-taking sunsets on the rocks.

Head to the V&A for a truly Capetonian shopping experience. A huge mall with fabulous harbour views and everything you could think of in terms of shops and restaurants. Catch the Saturday and Sunday Oranjezicht City Farmers Market in Granger Bay and take a walk along the promenade to Sotano for sundowners.

Tranquil, relaxed, inspired, artistic and vibey. A beautiful way to wind down with an evening walk along the sea, or kick start your day with a run from the Promenade Pools to Camps Bay. Vibey restaurants and listening to live music at Mojo market are perfect ways to spend your evening :)

Τρόποι μεταφοράς

Uber, Bolt, MyCiti bus, bicycle

Uber and Bolt are the most common ways to get around town. The MyCiti bus route is extensive and cost-effective to get around to all the Cape Town hotspots.

Be aware.

Always have your wits about you. Like any other city, there are areas to avoid and basic pointers to follow. Keep your handbag closed, don't walk down dark streets alone etc.

Έθιμα και πολιτισμός

People are generally very friendly and happy to help.

We have a huge mix of cultures in Cape Town and that's one of the reasons we love this city so much! There are so many delicious different foods to try and traditions to experience. We recommend a museum afternoon, doing a cultural tour, or local cooking class to enjoy this aspect of the city.
