I love this winery. It is located less than a mile from our property on Furnace Mountain Road (Springs Store Cottage) and is a 10-15 minute drive from most of our properties. On most weekends they have live music. Wine and food are great. And the location itself - building outdoor pavilion is well designed. Highly recommended.

Fun cocktails, great food, laid back atmosphere! This is a fun place. Whether you have just been to local wineries/breweries, hiking or tubing, this is a must stop to grub down! Fun place! Our home is about 35 minutes away, totally worth the drive!

Best view of Harper’s Ferry. Also a great workout. Hike I would consider moderate to hard. This is a popular place so I recommend going earlier in the morning. Park in Harper’s ferry, cross walking bridge and take a left on trail next to river. Walk a few minutes cross walking bridge over road which is direct to the Maryland heights trail. Takes me about 2- 2 1/2 hours.

Park in Harper’s ferry, cross walking bridge and take a left on trail next to river. Walk a few minutes cross walking bridge over road which is direct to the Maryland heights trail. Takes me about 2- 2 1/2 hours.
Great easy walk (not a hike) behind Waterford up to the waterfall. Park at the end of clover hill road and cross the paved road look left you will see a foot bridge behind the old brick mill that is the entrance

Breweries not wineries when taking kids vanish has wine, play ground, arcade machines and great food. Take stump town road to see the locals way across the pass. On the way back find the abandoned church on bald hill road and hike the state park next to its parking area
