Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Stone Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Beach cabin getaway in Pringle Bay

This is a tiny cabin built for the love of the Koegelberg nature biosphere. It floats on a sea of fynbos and lives out onto a large deck for breakfast with the birds, reading in the hammock, soaking in the fire bath, and dinner al fresco within earshot of the breaking waves. Fully equipped 2 bedroom ‘Out-of-Africa’ bungalow. Self-catering. Sleeps 4 adults in 2-single beds, 1-queen/double. Loft area w/ skylight views of ocean and a full-size couch. Spacious lounge/dining/kitchen area connects to verandah. Separate bath/shower/toilet. Overlooks RE Nature Reserve with magnificent, unobstructed sunset views of False Bay. 150m to sea. Short walk to local pub/ beach. Braai, garage. Dog friendly but unfenced.

Seaside Sanctuary

Perfect home for re-connecting with friends and family, with a pool for the summer and fireplaces for the winter. The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults. The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
