Heidi’s Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. Our swimming pool is in a secluded spot by the river with ancient oaks offering shade.

It is good for a couple or solo adventurer. Whilst exploring the Winelands and tasting wine, sleeping over in The Tank, is a great experience.

This stunning second storey apartment has great views and has a fully equipped kitchen for guests (gas stove, microwave and fridge). Laundry washing machine available at R35 per load - liquid provided. You can lounge around, or visit the three wine farms bordering us (between 5 and 10min walks) as well as a great beer breweries. We are situated on the main road to Franschhoek - 5 min drive to the center of town.
