A perfect location to relax & explore Cong, Connemara & the West of Ireland. The barn loft is situated 1.5 miles from Ashford Castle/Cong Village. The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. Use of a large mature garden and a short walk to Lough Corrib. Freezer is available & storage for bicycles and fishing equipment. Free parking & dog friendly.

Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. The setting is magical and remote with just rabbits, sheep and Connemara ponies as your neighbours.
