After a full day of exploring the outdoors, guests will appreciate relaxing in the spacious living area which boasts comfortable couches, and a cozy fireplace. A second sitting area can be found adjacent to the kitchen and contains a sofa, TV / DVD Blue ray player, Bose iPod / iPhone 'sound speaker and dining table. Meals can be easily prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen which is appointed with an oven, cook top , refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, tea kettle & Toaster , along with essential cookware, cutlery, and dishes. The rainforest country homestead is a great retreat for families or friends with views through the forest to the city. Nestled in the rainforest 680 metres above sea level, Mt Glorious is generally around 5 degrees cooler than Brisbane. Absolute peace & seclusion - perfect for romance & relaxing, with lots of birds & bush-walks. Children are welcome, with plenty of space outdoors for them to play. Wi-fi access is available from the homestead.

Our Hut is self contained accommodation in a fully renovated 100 years old Corn Shed. Decorate old Australiana goods around the building, unique Australian outback feel. Foliar House is situated at the summit of Mount Glorious, surrounded by pristine rainforest which is home to bird-life, pademelons and sugar-gliders, hiking trails and a locals-only waterfall. Featuring 5m high ceilings, the first floor of Foliar combines a generous open-plan living with fireplace, dining room and kitchen. You’ll find the main bedrooms on the second floor, both with Queen Beds, as well as a private ensuite.

The Elm House Studio

Part of our little community sits the Elm House Studio, a two story, hand-hewn, hardwood dream cabin in the rainforest. This one-bedroom mountain retreat (only 50 mins from Meanjin/Brisbane) includes a self-contained kitchen, luxury linens, a claw foot bath and a fireplace for all of your cosy dreams to unfold. Walking access to world-famous rainforest walks and only a 10 minute drive to swim in the beautiful ‘Pixie Pools’ and Northbrook gorge. Weddings welcome.
