Relax in Your Private Spa at This Tranquil Country Cottage

Indulge in a luxury spa experience at a tranquil cottage. Follow a garden path from your decked balcony to a private wood-fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, outdoor shower and summerhouse. It's a great spot for stargazing by night and bird-watching by day. Cook in a modern well-equipped kitchen or have a night off, dinner prepared for you by us and brought over to the cottage. Please note that all logs for the hot tub and log burner are inclusive ! We are pet friendly and welcome 1 large breed or 2 smaller breeds of dog. The cottage is situated in the grounds of our own home. While it is entirely private we are on hand if you need anything and Mark can also provide private catering as a highly regarded chef sourcing the best local produce in Cornwall ! The cottage terrace opens out from the bedroom with direct access to the garden and a path which leads to an outdoor spa with wood fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, fire pit and summerhouse. We are located in the adjacent house should you need us for anything at all but offer our guests total privacy otherwise. The choice is yours ! The cottage is in a pretty rural hamlet surrounded by countryside near the market town of Launceston in the county of Cornwall. A car is needed. The cottage sleeps 2 adults in a King sized bed and up to 2 small children (under 12) on the sofa bed.

Delightful converted barn, full of character. Sleeps 6. Secluded rural setting near coast paths & Crackington beach. Family run for over 45 yrs. Featured in The Guardian 13/05/17; 'We head towards the sea for a cliff walk looking over Crackington Haven beach. It feels as though we’re walking at the edge of the world: the contrast of blue sea, craggy coast, gorse bushes & wildflowers is transfixing. The kids love it too. Once in a while, it’s good to feel small & let the landscape dominate you.'

Walking distance (albeit all uphill coming back) from local cafes & a pub & of course award winning Crackington Haven beach. Ground floor features living & dining area, kitchen, a twin room, a single room & family shower room. Access onto the balcony from the living/dining area with BBQ. Upstairs for the master suite with en-suite bathroom & views. Pets are welcome however they’ll be an additional cleaning fee.

The spacious apartment occupies the ground floor of this 150 year old building and retains the original beams while having a modern feel. There is also an allocated parking space - gold dust in the summer months! Dog friendly too!

The loft

Wake up to wide sea views across the coastline towards the legendary castle island. The Loft is a peaceful, romantic retreat for two with its own private path leading directly down to the South West Coast Path and the beach below. Tucked away above the cliffs yet only a short walk from the village, it’s the perfect place for coastal walks, sunsets over the Atlantic and quiet mornings watching the sea. Many guests tell us the view alone makes them never want to leave.

Ratty's Retreat is an eco-friendly, modern & bright studio apartment, designed to take full advantage of the wonderful vantage point with stunning views across Widemouth Bay. The detached building is constructed from traditional oak. The light & airy space is ideal to relax & chill out, away from the hustle & bustle. Tucked away, but easily accessed from the A39, a short drive down a well maintained road with plenty of off-road parking.

This beautiful newly renovated 2 bedroomed barn conversion sits just above the pretty harbour village of Boscastle. It’s set in the rolling countryside in an designated Area of outstanding Natural Beauty with breathtaking sea views. You can literally watch the sun set over the sea from your hot tub, patio, lounge and bedroom! The property was converted into a stunning living space in spring 2022 so it’s brand new!
