Welcome to the Treehouse! No, it's not actually a house in a tree, but you get to enjoy the completely remodeled home thanks to the tree that fell through it! Need a place to relax for a few days? Maybe coming to visit friends/family but don’t want TOO much quality time with your loved ones? Come slip away to this cozy, beautifully remodeled home away from home. Dip into the pool (not heated), soak in the hotub , Or enjoy a night on the town via our recommendations provided upon your arrival.

Modern farmhouse vibe-3 room suite. Mainly designed to host up to 3 guests luxuriously but can sleep up to 4. *see note* King bed in large main BR w/ sitting area, Roku/TV/DVD player. Large 2nd room with kitchenette (sink, mini fridge, micro, and Keurig), dining area and a small twin-sized futon. A 3rd room (small BR) with a twin sized bed (36” high). Privacy for each room. Key code/Stairs to entry.Right off I-20: easy access to Shreveport/Bossier. Country views/pond/deck. On site security.

Sunset Cabin

Private country atmosphere in city located on 7 acres. Lots of large pine and oak trees, birds, and catch and release from onsite pond. Plenty of room for horse or boat trailers to park. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants and stores if your not in mood to cook. Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. After 10PM inquires will be answered the next morning

South Highlands private cottage 1 Bed 1 Bath

This garage cottage is located behind a charming duplex in the South Highlands neighborhood on a quiet residential street. Originally built in 1924 this tiny but mighty space was completely remodeled in 2021. 1 queen bed with a max of 2 guests. There is room to relax along with a private outdoor space, 1 covered parking space, and more parking available on the street. Washer/dryer available for guest use. Close to everywhere you want to go while in town! No pets. No events. No smoking.

This rustic, yet elegant guest house is located in the heart of Carthage. Looking for a romantic getaway? We’ve hosted anniversary couples, honeymooners, and even a proposal! It’s also a restful stop on a trip or a great place to unwind. Go shopping at the quaint downtown stores or just stay in the cozy house and watch movies on the big screen. Located on a 2 acre peninsula on Pine Island, this 450 sf treehouse is surrounded by 1400 feet of Cross Lake. Beautiful open water and cypress tree views epitomize Louisiana lake living. The treehouse has an open concept living area with a queen bed, claw foot tub and equipped kitchenette, with countertop oven/toaster, microwave, coffee pot, electric skillet, refrigerator and sink. It accommodates two adults, no children or pets. Two night minimum stay, no exceptions.

Toledo Bend Retreat with private boat ramp

Private and secluded lakeside camphouse that offers a quiet and relaxing getaway from the stress of everyday life. You can fish, kayak, go on nature walks or just relax on the screened in porch listening to the sounds of nature and wildlife surrounding you. We offer all of your basic amenities along with our own added touches and have flexible rates available. No wifi available due to the heavily wooded and rural location of our camp.

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.

Entry is located off the covered back patio space that includes a large sectional and gas fire table. Room has fold-down desk used as a workspace, vanity, or dining for two. 40” Roku TV, and mini-fridge with separate freezer. Street parking.
