Cosy house with a breathtaking view

Hydra is a very popular island because of its picturesque capital, full of red-tiled houses and stone-paved narrow alleys. Hydra is one of the few areas in Greece for which there is preservation order. Access to the island of Hydra is easy It can be reached from the port of Piraeus by hydrofoil in just one and a half hour. The particularity of Hydra Greece is that all vehicles are prohibited, a fact which increases its charm. The house is in the middle of the amphitheatrical city of Hydra and it’s a 10-15 minute walk from the port. 2 floor house in the centre of Hydra Island with a breathtaking view which can be enjoyed from all the rooms of the house. On the ground floor the veranda has 2 levels. The 1st level outside the kitchen, is covered with ceramic tiles that provide cool and shade throughout the day, which makes it a pleasure to have all meals outside enjoying the beautiful view. On the 2nd level of the veranda you can sunbathe during the day or lie on comfortable chaise longues at night and have a cocktail under the stars. Entering the house there is a fully equipped kitchen, big oven with ceramic hobs, dishwasher and a 2nd mini fridge. One room which accommodates 2 people in 2 single beds with a WC- shower and a washing machine that you can use. This room can also be used as a dining room as there is a table for 6 people and it is quite spacious with 2 windows and a perfect view. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms which sleep 4 people and a bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom has got 2 single beds (they have small wheels) which can be used either separately, or as double beds by joining them and putting an extra thin double mattress on top. There is an air-conditioning unit in each of the two bedrooms upstairs and 3 portable fans. Passing through the 1st room there is another veranda that gives a wider view of the island.

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The route leading to the house has quite a few steps as all routes do in the town of Hydra but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Το Hydra's View House είναι ένα σπίτι στο λόφο του οικισμού με πανοραμική θέα της Ύδρας και του λιμανιού τόσο από τη βεράντα όσο και από τα υπνοδωμάτια. Έχει πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα για προετοιμασία πρωινού, γεύματος ή δείπνου.Το καθιστικό και τα υπνοδωμάτια διαθέτουν δική τους τηλεόραση,air-condition και παροχή WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους του σπιτιού.Το μπάνιο διαθέτει πιστολάκι για τα μαλλιά και πλυντήριο ρούχων.Το σπίτι απέχει μόλις12 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι ανεβαίνοντας σκαλοπάτια.

The studio is part of a bigger traditional old Stone house, fully renovated and with great view to the harbour. One reaches the houses in 10-15 minutes walk (and stairs) from the port depending on each person's pace. Hydra is amphitheatricaly built and there are a lot of cobble stone stairs around town and leading up to the house so ...not for everyone! new mandatory government fee has been introduced: the “Climate Crisis Resilience Fee”, amountingto €8 per night for short-term accommodations

Ermina's House I

Ermina's House is a comfortable house, 7 minutes walk far from the Hydra's port. It's perfect for people wanting to be close to downtown and the local market. It is suitable for both couples and families. Facilities like free Wi-Fi and TV are offered. Ermina's house I consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a beautifully decorated attic. Last but not least, there is a veranda with a breathtaking view and a blooming garden.

Frantzeskos House

Our house is a traditional, sunny house with two internal courtyards. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is only ten minutes from the port of Hydra and is fully equipped. Four meters from the house there is a small grocery store that operates on Sundays. There are easy access to sandy beaches (Kamini, Avlaki, Mandraki) and to beaches with rocks (Spilia). The transfer of baggage upon arrival and departure will be done by us.

Located in Kamini and only 10 minutes away from the port, our apartment is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. It offers a private swimming area while being one step away from all Hydra’s famous beaches! You can also find many local restaurants -even a supermarket- nearby and enjoy your meal right by the sea! SUNNY WITH NICE HYDRA VIEW

The studio is about twelve minutes from the harbor, and ten about from Kaminia beach, also there is a beach AVLAKI about 7 minutes, located in the back side from the house. Two minutes from studio they are two mini markets. Dear guests Hydra is a different island , oll the transfers made by donkeys ,there ara no cars , so if someone not like walking on many steps, better to find any accommodation near the port.

Έχει εύκολη πρόσβαση, καθώς βρίσκεται ακριβώς στο λιμάνι, δίπλα στο φούρνο, τις καφετέριες, τα εστιατόρια, τις τράπεζες και την κύρια αγορά του νησιού. Μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει έως 2 άτομα. Δωμάτια: Ξεχωριστό υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεβάτι και μπαλκόνι με θέα στο λιμάνι του νησιού, πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα και μπάνιο.

Kallia's luxury apartment

KALLIA is a new 60m2 apartment located in a quiet neighbourhood, in the center of Hydra town (150m away from the harbour). It was built in 2018, carefully desinged according to the traditional architecture of Hydra.In case there are more guests the apartment can be rented with the upstairs apartment Kellys luxury apartment(4 guests).
