Cosy house with a breathtaking view

Hydra is a very popular island because of its picturesque capital, full of red-tiled houses and stone-paved narrow alleys. Hydra is one of the few areas in Greece for which there is preservation order. Access to the island of Hydra is easy It can be reached from the port of Piraeus by hydrofoil in just one and a half hour. The particularity of Hydra Greece is that all vehicles are prohibited, a fact which increases its charm. The house is in the middle of the amphitheatrical city of Hydra and it’s a 10-15 minute walk from the port. 2 floor house in the centre of Hydra Island with a breathtaking view which can be enjoyed from all the rooms of the house. On the ground floor the veranda has 2 levels. The 1st level outside the kitchen, is covered with ceramic tiles that provide cool and shade throughout the day, which makes it a pleasure to have all meals outside enjoying the beautiful view. On the 2nd level of the veranda you can sunbathe during the day or lie on comfortable chaise longues at night and have a cocktail under the stars. Entering the house there is a fully equipped kitchen, big oven with ceramic hobs, dishwasher and a 2nd mini fridge. One room which accommodates 2 people in 2 single beds with a WC- shower and a washing machine that you can use. This room can also be used as a dining room as there is a table for 6 people and it is quite spacious with 2 windows and a perfect view. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms which sleep 4 people and a bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom has got 2 single beds (they have small wheels) which can be used either separately, or as double beds by joining them and putting an extra thin double mattress on top. There is an air-conditioning unit in each of the two bedrooms upstairs and 3 portable fans. Passing through the 1st room there is another veranda that gives a wider view of the island.

Sunset house in Hydra

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The route leading to the house has quite a few steps as all routes do in the town of Hydra but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Grandmas Guest House

Grandmas Guest house belonged to our lovely grandmother Rose and our grandfather Panagiotis. We renovated the house in 2018 accordingly to traditional Hydriot style but is still comfortable and with all the modern amenities so the guests can feel like home. It is an independent cozy house,72 m2,on ground floor, is situated on the central road of the island, on Andrea Miaoulis str., and is about 8-12 minutes from the port on foot, with only 20 steps in front of the entrance of the house .

Sigala's House

The house is built of stone in the traditional way by traditional craftsmen in the 70's, with an internal space of 70sqm. It is spacious with a comfortable bedroom, a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. There is a large terrace on the front with an ammazing view and a back yard with a small garden. It was my mother's vacation and inspiration home. It is furnished with the original furniture and I keep it so simple because it creates a sense of space and tranquility.

Ermina's House I

Ermina's House is a comfortable house, 7 minutes walk far from the Hydra's port. It's perfect for people wanting to be close to downtown and the local market. It is suitable for both couples and families. Facilities like free Wi-Fi and TV are offered. Ermina's house I consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a beautifully decorated attic. Last but not least, there is a veranda with a breathtaking view and a blooming garden.

Μολις 200μ.απο το μοναδικο γηπεδο τεννις στην Υδρα.

Frantzeskos House

Our house is a traditional, sunny house with two internal courtyards. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is only ten minutes from the port of Hydra and is fully equipped. Four meters from the house there is a small grocery store that operates on Sundays. There are easy access to sandy beaches (Kamini, Avlaki, Mandraki) and to beaches with rocks (Spilia). The transfer of baggage upon arrival and departure will be done by us.

The House at the Centre

The "House in the center of Hydra" is a two floor apartment, located less than a minute away from the port. Built during the 19th century but recently renovated and redecorated, it is the first year that it is available for rent. The house's original style was maintained and enhanced with contemporary decorative ideas, resulting in a simple and comfortable yet luxurious outcome.
