Sunset house in Hydra

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The route leading to the house has quite a few steps as all routes do in the town of Hydra but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Το Olive Trees House είναι ένα γοητευτικό σπίτι, που βρίσκεται στον κόλπο του Μανδρακίου, 20-25 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι. Το σπίτι είναι ανεξάρτητο, ήσυχο, λίγο ψηλά στην πλαγιά του λόφου σε ένα αυθεντικό και διατηρημένο περιβάλλον. Θα θαμπωθείτε από την εξαιρετική θέα στη θάλασσα. Περιβάλλεται από ελαιόδεντρα, δύο λεμονιές και μια συκιά. Οι δύο βεράντες του, η καθεμία με τη δική της σκιερή πέργκολα, προσφέρουν όμορφη θέα 180° στη θάλασσα και τους γειτονικούς λόφους.

This 19th c house, has been my family's hideout since 1978, hosting 3 generations of us. The property consists of two units. A two storey house & an indepedent guest room in the courtyard. Both units open up to a private garden with aromatic herbs, and two terraces offering a breathtaking sea & sunset view towards the Argosaronicos sea to the opposite Peloponnesian coasts. If you seek for peace and privacy and an amazing stargazing, this is the place to be.

We welcome you to our cottage house in Taktikoupoli Troizinias. The ideal place to relax, enjoy nature and explore, only 1 km away from the sea (by car). Also, it is close to the Volcano of Methana, Vathi marina, the Ancient Theater of Epudaurus, Devil’s Bridge, Lake of Psifta and Poros island. All you need is a car or a motorcycle and travelling mood! But how can you come? By car via Korinthos and Epidaurus or by ship via Methana or Poros.
