Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Boendet ligger 800 m från tågstation, tio minuters promenad från golfbana och 250 m från ICA-affär med generösa öppettider. Helkaklat badrum med dusch o toalett, kylskåp och Micro finns naturligtvis .

Här finns det masser med möjlighet till kortare eller längre utflykter i naturen, till exempel vandring, paddla kanot, bada i sjön eller cykla på dressiner. Avståndet till Helsingborg och Lund är bara 45 i bil, om man vill till staden på sightseeing. Denna destinationen passar familier med barn, ensam-äventyrar, par eller du som är på en längre resa, och behöver en enkelt övernatning på vägen.

Huset står flot med lækkert køkken og bad og alt hvad et hus skal have. 10 min gang fra skøn sandstrand. Der er fri adgang til kajakker, SUP, bålsted, cykler og fiskestænger. Enoy the peaceful and quiet surroundings in the nature from this newbuild cottage. The cottage has a bed room and a sleeping loft with two beds. The kitchen has everything you need, as stove, oven, microwave oven, fridge and freezer. Please bring your own sheets. It is possible to rent sheets for 100 SEK/person.

This beautiful and historic house is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. In five minutes, you can walk to the sea, park, and castle, and 15 minutes to the city center. Built in 1918 as a farm house, it is now tucked away in our tranquil garden, complete with a patio, deck, and bbq.

The house was designed by Danish architects Friis & Moltke and build in 1970. The house is ideal for a family of two adults and two children with two in the master bedroom and two in the bunkbed room. The kitchen is fully equipped incl. dishwashing machine.
