Cosy two bed ground floor apartment on the edge of the Lake District National Park, with all the stunning scenery that you would expect. Nestling between the fells and the sea. Close to both public transport and road links. Can comfortably accommodate up to four people. Millom is a small town with a railway station, two supermarkets, restaurants, and takeaways within walking distance. You'll have the place to yourself, and the reassurance of a local owner being within 30 minutes drive if needed.

Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Beds are made with linen and throws. Supper cozy

Our charming cottage is situated in the hamlet of Newland just 2.3 miles from Ulverston, with pubs, restaurants, and local amenities,. The Lakes are only 15 mins away too. The perfect stay for lovers of the great outdoors, cozy evenings in front of the log burner, or summer evenings in the large garden or BBQ area. The cottage is dog friendly too. Stunning woodland walk ways into Ulverston to the rear of the property, and riverside and beach walks nearby with excellent cycle routes close by

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Located just off the main street of Haverigg its the perfect location to explore the beach just around the corner (2min walk) Shop, Chippy and Pub 1 minute walk away. Aqua park and Nature reserve is also close by. We are also a good base for exploring the lake district with Coniston only being a 35min drive. Scafell Pike is close by too with a 45min drive. Haverigg is on the fringe of the Lakes, with Coniston being just a short drive away (approx 35 minutes). The property is close to Hodbarrow which is an RSPB Nature Reserve and it is also on the coast with some stunning dog friendly beaches to walk along. You can walk Black Combe and be rewarded with stunning views, or try wakeboarding, sea fishing or go horse riding on the beach.

Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.
