This apartment is in the first floor of a recently renovated Venetian building (dating from the 15th century). The house itself is in the main entrance of the fortified part of the village (Kasteli). In the old center all the streets are pedestrian and therefore the area is very calm. From the apartment you can enjoy an amazing sea view and it takes only a 10 min drive to arrive to the beach. The entire house consists of the 2 apartments (Loggia & Porta) which in total can accommodate 8 people.

Our Castle, built back in 1875, has been characterised by the Greek archaeological authorities as a traditional, historic and preserved monument. Tο διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται στον 1. και 2. όροφο ενός διατηρητέου βενετσιάνικου σπιτιού του 15ου αιώνα, παραδοσιακά ανακαινισμένου. Είναι ένα από τα λίγα κτίρια αυτής της περιόδου που επέζησαν από τον καταστροφικό σεισμό του 1956. Βρίσκεται μέσα στα τείχη που προστατεύουν την πρόσβαση στο καλύτερα διατηρημένο οχυρωμένο χωριό του νησιού. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ ήσυχη, στην καρδιά των στενών δρόμων του χωριού. Η θέα στη θάλασσα είναι μαγευτική και η παραλία απέχει μόλις 10 λεπτά. 1-3 άτομα.

The entire house consists of 2 apartments (Loggia & Porta) which can accommodate a max of 9 people.

Mani Castle experience

An authentic, fully furnished, just recently renovated traditional castle with great views. Around 2 centuries ago, our grandparents decided to build a castle for their winter stays and to protect themselves from rivalries. On the ground floor you can find the olive press that the residents had in order to make their olive oil. Now, centuries later the castle is ready to open its arms is waiting for you to explore this unique castle as well as try local products in Pagkia!

Petreas Castle - Feel the historical atmosphere

Petrea Castle belongs to the castle's complex Troupaki-Mourtzinou of Upper Kardamili in Messinian Mani. Built in the early 18th century, recently restored on plans by Greek Ministry of Culture, preserving with respect its historic and architectural character. It has three floors with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Unique view to Messinian bay and mountain Taygetos. The property offers air-conditioning system with heating pumps for heat and cold.
