Devine View, Overlooking Sea and Folkestone Harbour Arm

Marvel at the stunning 180 degree sea view, observe the fishing boats leave the harbour and later return with their catch. Watch sea birds over a coffee with high-powered binoculars, cook up a hearty breakfast, then recharge the batteries with a Clifftop, harbour-side or beachfront walk. Arguably the finest view in Folkestone, a panorama to behold, watch the sun rise and set over the English Channel. Guests of Devine View have access to the entire apartment on an exclusive basis, there is a communal stair way serving the middle apartment and Devine View apartment. When possible we like to greet our guests and give a brief introduction to the apartment, we live within a short walk so are generally available should guests need assistance or advice. Devine View sits on the popular East Cliff over looking Folkestone Harbour Arm. A five-minute walk reaches the harbour area, or beautiful cliff top walks are on the doorstep. A wide selection of eateries and bars lie within easy reach. Wear Bay Road is within a residential area with free unrestricted on street parking. A bus stop is located for daytime services (not including Sunday’s) within yards of the property, allowing guests to travel to town centre via the harbour/seafront. The harbour/seafront is only five minutes downhill walk or via steps. Red Arrows display and much more this coming Sunday 30th June. Watch them from the balcony! There is free unrestricted car parking opposite the apartment. The apartment has WiFi connected.

Private secluded treehouse retreat

20ft up nesting between three sturdy oak trees this treehouse made of recycled timbers and is surrounded by trees and has glimpses of the northdowns AONB Cosy and private set on the edge of a barley field the only sound is wind through the trees and birdsong. Heater and double glazing makes this ideal in winter or summer, and a chemical loo in the cabin at ground level adds a creature comfort. There is an induction hob, cool box electric kettle and Bluetooth speaker and a variety of games .

The Lodge-Modern House/Garden/Hot Tub/Beach nearby

The two-storey guesthouse is a modern extension (built 2019) to the main house (built 1852). The ground floor has two bedrooms and a bright bathroom/WC. Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area features high ceilings and opens to a decked garden with hot tub/jacuzzi and BBQ — perfect for relaxing. A 3rd sleeping room is a small loft with 2 single beds, is accessed by a ladder (not suitable for young children) This is a peaceful retreat, not suited to parties or loud gatherings

Can also comfortably sleep up to 2 children (from 5 years) on single mattresses in loft area accessed by a ladder and hatch. NOT SUITABLE FOR 4 ADULTS. A wonderful place to chill-out and lose yourself - you won't want to leave! Sheer bliss!

Just over an hour from London, find yourself in the heart of the English countryside with beautiful walks, the coast, and historic towns on your doorstep. Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.

There is plenty to do in the local area with the Royal Military Canal, Port Lympne zoo, Folkestone Harbour Arm, and the beaches of Hythe and Dymchurch all close by.

Historic town of Canterbury is nearby but beach is only a short drive away too. Being just over an hour from London and 10 minutes from the Euro tunnel its ideal for a 'quick stop off' or a 'tranquil get away'.
