Walkable, Cozy Duplex Home near Five Points

Our newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath space is part of our duplex home. We use it as the office during the week but have decided to let others enjoy it on the weekends. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well as dining area, and the living room couch pulls out into a bed with a super-comfy memory foam mattress (so we can sleep 4 if necessary). Anything in the house, although we do use most of the closet space for storage and might have a few food items in the fridge/freezer. If this is a problem, just let us know and we will get them out of your way. We also have board games for all different interest levels that you're free to use. We live in the larger part of the duplex so are available as needed, but you also have as much privacy as you want. I should note that we have 3 children, so you might hear the pitter patter of little feet, but the walls between the two sides are thick enough to mute most sound. Located near many points of interest, such as Mas Tacos and the Pharmacy, as well as Five Points, Nissan Stadium, and Downtown, this home is on a street busy enough to be close to everything but quiet enough to walk peacefully to many attractions. A hip and thriving neighborhood, East Nashville has music venues and boutiques to explore, with loads of great restaurants within walking distance. Walk/bike/uber/lyft are all great options! We can't guarantee it without your notice, but if you let us know ahead of time, we can usually reserve a pack n play for a baby. Be it photos of African Safari, the farmhouse glasses, or modern wooden features, this guesthouse gives you the comfort of modern living with the feel of barn comfort. As our guest, feel free to pick fresh vegetables from the garden, enjoy a bonfire under the lights, and lounge in one of adirondack chairs on the deck. We also provide you with a private parking space in the back alleyway. East Nashville is a laid-back, artsy section of Music City. This historic district is a hub of arts, local music, award-winning dining, boutique shopping, and craft beer. Head across the river to experience all the nearby downtown attractions. Lyft, Uber, Bird and Lime are all cheap and easy modes or travel. East Nashville is also very walkable with a grocery store, post office, coffee shop, restaurants, and more within a block or two.

The Little Phoenix on Fatherland, Hip Home Mid-Century Flair

The Little Phoenix is accessed from a private parking area off of the Alley behind the main house with it's own entrance gate and private back yard. Ideal for a couple or a group of 3 there is also a full size kitchen. I live full-time in time in the main house and work in the neighborhood (I am an architect and actually designed both the main house and the guest house you will be staying in). There is additional on-street parking on Fatherland Street in front of the main house. I love showing off the main house, so if you are interested in design - request a tour. The home is in bustling East Nashville, a short walk from a variety of cafes, restaurants, and shops. Head to Lockeland Table and the Public House for some of the best local food and neighborhood hangouts on the east side. The Little Phoenix is a passion project that only came about with the tragedy of a devastating house fire at the main house.
