Quinta das Fontainhas. DOURO VALLEY is situated in the heart of the Douro Valley. Guests can enjoy the exclusive use of the entire property and the breathtaking scenery that will make for a unique and relaxing stay. The house, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, is the result of the reconstruction of a 19th century winery and offers the essential facilities for a peaceful holiday. There are two outdoor patios, a large stone table and a barbecue. The swimming pool is set in the vineyards.

Quinta Vila Rachel - Winery - Flora House

Quinta Vila Rachel is located in the Natural Park of Vale do Tua, in the heart of the Douro Region, with an activity focused on wine tourism and the production of natural and organic wines. Our Farm offers its guests an organic pool where they can relax enjoying the unique landscapes of the Tua Valley. A restored house with all the comforts you need for a wonderful retreat and/or get-together with family and friends. This house is located in an old abandoned village near the river with a beautiful little beach. If you enjoy being in contact with nature, this is the ideal place; you can find otters, many varieties of birds, etc. The house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and air conditioning. The pool is shared with another house. Meals are available upon request.

Loja da égua

Era aqui, que em tempos do meu avô, se alocava a égua que ele montava quando ia às feiras a Vinhais, ou a tratar deoutros assuntos do casal um casal em Vila Nova da Rainha. A égua era um animal elegante, de cor castanho arruivado, que me fascinava, sempre que eu ia esperar o meu avô, nas suas idas e montadas. Houve certamente cavalos, burros, mas a minha memória vai para essa égua maravilhosa, a cavalo da qual fui para Vinhais, fazer o exame da então 4ª classe.

Decoração simples e moderna (guarda roupa, gavetas, mesa e cadeiras, terraço com mesa guarda-sol e cadeiras). Pequeno espaço de cozinha com forno, microondas, fogão e frigorífico. Casa de banho completa. Alguns utensílios de cozinha, como talheres e louça. Tábua, ferro de engomar, e televisão. Irei receber os hóspedes pessoalmente, falo inglês e alemão.
