Elegant and Stylish Designer Apartment in Central Athens

The 100 sq meters 2 bedroom apartment is situated in a privileged residence building on the 5th floor in front of a spacy park.It is a sunny apartment with all the rooms viewing directly to the park and to further horizon (the balcony has direct access to that view), without having a road between the entrance of the building and the park ,in a very quiet location, few steps away from local night life. IIn more detail: The apartment: As you enter the apartment (100 sq.m renovated) there is an entrance hall with an open kitchen on the left and a bar with stools. The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave and dish washer included).In front, there is a spacy sitting room with a 4K smart tv (neflix channel included), a dining room (big wooden designed oval table with 8 chairs ).In both sitting and dining area you can enjoy the park view and the tranquil open space ,without anything reminding you that you are in the center of a big city. In that area there is also an office table for use of laptop etc. On the right (there are glass doors that can provide privacy) there is a modern, confortable sofa bed, that can accommodate 2 people (210x140 cm). Sofa in the sitting area, dining table, chairs and stools are recently bought from KARE design store. Beside the kitchen there is a small corridor that separates the sitting, dining and kitchen area from the rest apartment. When you open the door to enter to the bedrooms and toilet ,bathroom area, you have on your left a small toilet wc and on the right the one bedroom with 2 single beds (brand new eco mattresses for extra comfort sleep, 200 x90 cm or 3’x 6’66’’ft each) that can be attached ,wardrobe and access to the balcony. Further on the right there is the main bedroom with a 200 x 200 super king size bed (brand new eco mattress for extra comfort sleep size 183 x 203 cm or 6’ x 6’ 66’’ ft) with wardrobe and access to the balcony. Just opposite to that, there is the big bathroom with shower and bath facilities, and at the end of the corridor a small storage area, where there is a washing machine. We are available for any help during your stay! A central neighborhood of Athens, you can easily walk around the area and encounter local stores, galleries, small theaters, restaurants, and bars. Kallimarmaro and Kolonaki also has several parks. The apartment can be accessed very easily from the airport and the port. The metro station (Evangelismos –blue line ) has a direct access from the airport and is a 10 minutes’ walk from the apartment. In case you choose the metro or the bus, carrying heavy luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi from the bus/metro station to the apartment (less than 5 min, costs 3,20 eur), because it is situated uphill (e.g. some steps if you prefer to save distance) ,which is also the reason of the excellent horizon and view of the park. From port of Piraeus around 40 mins away, you take the train towards kifisia(green line), and change at monastiraki station to blue line towards either airport or doukisis plakentias and exit at evagelismos station. There is a private parking 100 m from the apartment. Transportation facilities (from/to the airport with very competitive prices, or day trips or tours) can also be arranged on request. Mattresses for all beds are ECOSLEEP (type BIOREST-new technology layers with advanced foam materials, such as memory foam for extra comfort sleep) Open area is a balcony 12 meters long that can be reachable from all bedrooms and sitting areas with view on the park. There is a strong Wi Fi signal. There are 2 elevators (1 normal and 1 small) in the building with access to the floor (5th). There is a private parking located 100 m from the apartment. Smoking is allowed in open spaces (balcony)

Before a new arrival we disinfect all surfaces with a certified disinfectant, and steam cleaner. We are very close to the hospitals Ygeia, Mitera, IASO, IVF Embryogenesis, ecc. As we live on the 1st floor of the building, we are easily in contact to help with everything you need. We are available any time to answer your questions and we can provide you with great choices that would make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guests have access to all the parts of the space, such as the living room, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and of course to the garden. Hosts Profile: We, Akrivi and Dionisis, live on the first floor of the same house. We own 2 jewelry galleries and a work shop in the center of Chalandri and in the island of Paros. We have two daughters which are 25 and 18 years old. We are Eco Friendly, cat lovers and garden lovers ( three cats live in the garden).We love hosting and we find it a very interesting experience! Chalandri is a green, safe, and trendy area in the north of Athens, full of shops, restaurants, and coffee bars. The apartment is on a quiet side road, but is close to the center of Chalandri and only 12 minutes by metro or bus from the city center. A 24h/day mini market is just a few steps away. Most of the biggest private hospitals , such as HYGEIA,MITERA,IATROPOLIS,EMBRYOGENESSIS,IATRIKO KENTRO, are in less than 2 km.far from the apartment. Walk to The Acropolis From a Bright Koukaki Flat

The apartment is on the second floor and has been fully renovated on August 2017. In the apartment there are two bedrooms, one living room, one fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom and two small balconies. The kitchen is opposite the living area in an open space layout, that automatically lends itself to relaxing after a long day at the museums. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped and serves as a perfect breakfast and dining area. The living room is spacious, has a flat screen TV and leads to a small charming balcony, where you can enjoy an evening drink. The master bedroom is spacious and bright with large window openings. In the second bedroom there are two single beds. Its main colors are warm grey and white and the wooden elements make you feel like home. Both bedrooms and the living room have ACs, so there are 3 ACs in the apartment, which make your stay super comfortable. You can access your Netflix account, so you can watch your favourite series and feel like home! Towels, bed linen and covers as well as bath supplies are available for you. In the kitchen you will find two coffee machines - one espresso machine (Nespresso) and one filter coffee machine. Capsules for the Nespresso machine as well as filter coffee and tea are available for you. I love meeting and talking to people from different countries and cultures! Feel free to ask me anything you like before you arrive in Athens and of course while you are staying in the apartment. I will make sure you have everything you need. The apartment is in Koukaki, an up-and-coming enclave of Athens peppered with trendy restaurants, cafes, and nightlife spots. Central cultural attractions, like The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, are minutes away on foot. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the Syggrou-Fix subway and 7 mins walk from the Acropolis subway. The tram is 1 minute walk and the bus station "Olympiaki" 4 minutes walking distance, right at the Syggrou avenue. There are several buses that pass from this station with destinations into the centre of Athens or towards the southern coast of Athens. The area is very central so finding a taxi is really easy. You can always book a taxi by phone or internet. The "Beat" application available for mobile phones and tablets is recommended. The majority of car rental agencies are located on Syngrou avenue nearby, so picking up a car is super easy. You can park for free on the street in our neighbourhood, but I wouldn't suggest renting a car while you are here. The apartment is centrally located and you can go anywhere by foot. There is a super market near the apartment, only 40 meters away. There is also a pharmacy in the same building as well as a hairdressers. If you would like a haircut or a blow-dry let them know you are staying with us!

Apart from the main entrance, a second one is leading directly to the second bedroom. The living room sofa can accommodate an extra guest. For families travelling with baby, facilities for our little guests are available. Work space to place your laptop and keep your notes is at your disposal. The entire House, including living room area, kitchen, bedrooms, the yard and of course the terrace, is available to our guests. Driven by Greek hospitality we pay attention to personal check in and check out of our guests. Upon arrival a welcome basket will surprise you! Take the chance to have a tour together to get to know our home and its facilities as best as possible. The neighborhood of Plaka is a great place for sightseeing, home to the city's most famed historical monuments. Flea markets, the shopping street of Ermou, restaurants, Greek tavernas, bars, and coffee shops are all nearby. Metro: Nearest station is “Monastiraki” (line 3), in a 5’ walking distance from the house. Access from/to the Airport: Approx. 70’ by Metro line 3 / 35klm by car Access from/to Piraeus Port: Approx. 25’ by Metro line 1 / 11klm by car Our property has staircase both indoors and outdoors. Nevertheless, downstairs bedroom is also accessible directly from street level as well.

The 80 sq.m. (861 sq.ft.) apartment was renovated in June 2017. It has two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room and a larger than average sized bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances (refrigerator, dish washer, stove, microwave oven, toaster). The apartment can easily accommodate 4 people and families are welcome. Because of the renovation our guests, will be able to enjoy the sense of the old Athenian apartment (large windows, hardwood floors) with the modern day amenities! Apart from the apartment our guests are welcome to use our rooftop where one can relax or enjoy one of the day's meals. As more apartments are available in the same building for rent, families or friends traveling together can staytogether! As this is a family-owned building one of us will be readily available should any advice be needed or any problems arise. We are very discrete and willing to help our guests with any questions they might have regarding the apartment or their Athens stay in general. The apartment is located right behind the National Gallery and very close to the Byzantine Museum, one of Athens' most beautiful cultural spots. There are numerous small bars and restaurants in the the area, while Kolonaki is a 10 minute walk away. The metro is the best way to get around in Athens but there are also numerous bus stops very close to the apartment. If you are visiting by car, we have limited free parking for our guests!
