The Carriage - A first class experience

Step back in time to this restored 1950's Pullman railway carriage, with the added luxury of 21st century amenities. The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Relive a unique journey with the addition of being able to step out onto the platform for sunbathing, breakfast or your evening meal then retire to the antique king sized bed with dressing room, ensuite and Eden toiletries.

This classic Tk has been described as a cottage on wheels, with handmade furnishings, hot shower, wood burning stove, gas hob, and lighting throughout. The sleeping area is a double bed with luxury bedding. Firewood is provided as well as fire pit with all BBQ equipment. Hot tubs available.

Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food. Or cook up something tasty over the firepit grill, then enjoy a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

Our Grey 2018 VW T6 Transporter named Grizedale is the perfect campervan for exploring the Lake District and beyond. Comfortable and easy to drive on both country roads and motorways, it sleeps up to four adults with a pull-out double bed and pop-top roof bed. Archie is a charming bespoke shepherd’s hut, set in its own garden space at the top of our shared garden area. Archie offers a nostalgic space for unwinding, there’s only Archie - no other pods or huts near you. Facing southwest there are lovely views. Archie has a double bed, en-suite shower room and toilet, kitchen area with hob,microwave, fridge, fold out dining table and underfloor heating to keep it cosy. Additionally outside there’s a kitchen area, bbq , firepit & seating.

TINY HOME Railway Carriage No.1 - Stunning Views

At the end of a wooded lane, through a farm gate, two 1930s cargo rail carriages recovered from the North East Railway have been transformed into cosy retreats at Lockhaugh Farm. Carriage No. 1 is one of four unique rentals, uniquely positioned where Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Northumberland converge. Wild swimming, fishing, cycling and endless walks are just beyond the gate. Star-filled skies, owls, deer and badgers await.
