Coro Camping, Coromandel

Coro Camping is a totally private eco camping site with your own river pool, hidden away in the beautiful and peaceful Rangihau valley near Coroglen. Close to all the popular beaches with great biking and tramping on your doorstep. Our season runs from the beginning of December to the end of March. Situated at the start of the Kauearanga Valley with numerous bush walks and river swimming nearby. Close to the rail trail for biking or into town for a coffee. Maybe have a spa while watching the sunset over the hills, sit on the deck reading, or toast marshmallows over the gas firepit. Glamping at its best.

The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.

Sleepy Studio Driving Creek

Self-contained studio at Driving Creek, on the outskirts of Coromandel Town. Perfect for two people with its comfy queen-sized bed, it also has a sofa bed for two children or another adult. There is a small kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and electric wok. The shower room with toilet is for your exclusive use. The studio has a barbecue, outdoor gas hob and outdoor seating area with views of the orchard, paddocks and Coromandel Ranges.

Cabin in the Woods

Sweet little cabin in the woods that we promise is definitely not the start of a B-grade horror flick (unless you're not great with the odd bug and some low-fi living) A bit of a glamping experience - we use solar lights and a camp stove, but there is some pretty great luxury features. Theres now a wee outdoor patio area, extra comfy couches and the valleys finest loft-based chillzone that takes advantage of the awesome views of the surrounding hills.
