Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. We would like to welcome you to our little slice of heaven. We are situated on a 4 aces block in beautiful Whitford east Auckland, with lovely native bush surrounding the property. We have a small flock of the cutest sheep in the world. The apartment is fully self contained with own private entrance and kitchen. 30 mins from the CBD and 30 mins from Auckland international airport. To avoid disappointments please don’t request the farm for functions.
