This ferrocement boat Later Gator was made in Sweden in 1973. That’s right! It’s made of concrete! The boat circumnavigated the globe twice before eventually ending up here in sunny Sanford FL. We spent 2 years completely renovating everything and tried to leave as much of the boat’s original personality intact while adding modern amenities. Restaurant/bar, pool, laundry facilities, showers and restrooms, diner, and marina store all on site, and downtown historic Sanford and river walk close by.

Our cottage is nestled behind Oviedo’s oldest home. The cottage boasts lots of windows with a beautiful view of the outdoors. Inside the cottage is a queen-size bed, table for 2-4, kitchenette with refrigerator, toaster and microwave, TV with Netflix and Prime, plus WiFi. There is a tall claw foot tub which can be difficult for people with mobility issues. The cottage is connected to the main house but has its own entrance and guests have complete privacy. There are no shared spaces.

This is peaceful and quiet place in a country seating yet in the middle of the city. It has been renovated and decorated in a luxurious and modern style. We live down the street from Lake Mills Park which is a beautiful park with a great lake you are welcome to use our water crafts too! *Please note that the ladder to access the loft above the restroom is not secured to the wall and is moveable.
