Sit and enjoy a sip of coffee or tea on the front porch while watching the cattle graze the pasture across the road next to a rustic white barn or venture about 3 miles to the largest privately owned lake in Madison County. Peaceful , family-friendly cozy cabin. Take a short drive to enjoy river fun, canoe and kayaking. Step outside in the morning onto the wraparound deck with a cup of coffee and listen and enjoy nature. Take a hike on the paths, roast marshmallows, make s’mores and hotdogs by the large fire pit, and many more things out in nature. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from the city or a night to rest on your way to wherever. Our cabin is also very unique with 3 full hookup campsites.

The expansive, romantically lighted, wrap-around deck provides a panoramic view of the St. Francis River where you can immerse yourself in the hot tub.

Enjoy a comfortable stay at this unique lakeside retreat. This home offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Start your day with coffee and a view of the lake. You’ll stay a short drive from several surrounding conservation sites. Bring your fishing pole and kayak! End your day relaxing by the fire pit and watching the sunset on the lake. We now offer event rentals for elopements, small wedding receptions, and small family reunions up to 18 people for an additional fee (message for details).

Secluded Cabin on BlackRiver/ Hot tub- NO PETS!

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

Rustic Tiny Home

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This sweet little accommodation is rustic on the inside and nestled in the Missouri Southeast close to the historic Sam A. Baker State Park. Two full hook up RV sites are on either side of the tiny home, allowing for camping of family or friends. Your host is close by in a home next door allowing us to quickly meet needs that may surface during your stay. The unit does have a washer/dryer as well. Note: RV rental is separate.

Sam A Baker State Park is located 4 miles away, Clearwater Lake is 14 miles, Saint Francis River within 5 miles and for your connivence Dollar General within 1 mile. We have catch and release fishing on property at designated area (children must be accompanied by an adult) and we have firewood and ice available
