The 'Outhouse' is a ground floor self contained studio which has been lovingly renovated and opened to our first guests in December 2019. Just a 2-3 minute walk from the centre of Melbourne, a beautiful georgian market town with a fabulous selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants & shops. The studio is divided into a shower room, kitchen with the living area and bedroom in one open plan space. The Outhouse sleeps 2 people in a double bed, with the benefit of air-con during the hot summer months.

The Green Room, whether you are here for pleasure or work, you may come and go at ease with your own private access and outside stairs into your own sunken garden. Our light and airy basement bedroom with kitchenette, fridge, microwave and coffee machine, has a spacious dining space doubling as a tranquil desk and private ensuite bathroom. Welcome to Chapter Two - Melbourne, located in the heart of Melbourne village. The church was built in the mid 1800’s and converted into several cosy dwellings over 30 years ago. The church has been fully renovated to provide an unique and unforgettable stay for up to 5 people. Fantastic range of restaurants, shops and pubs, all on the door step. Perfectly located to explore some of south Derbyshires most beautiful sights, Calke Abbey, Staunton Harold, Donington Race track are all nearby.

Huckleberry Cottage

Huckleberry cottage Ingleby is a quiet hamlet nestled in the south Derbyshire countryside. Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

Buses run regularly from the airport linking Loughborough, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham. Local ales and pub grub available a few minutes down the road.

Rose Cottage is our 1680’s cottage set in the heart of the the Castle Donington conservation area. Easily accessible from from the M1, M/A42, or A50, and close by to East Midlands Airport and Donington Park race track. Only a minutes walk to the Village centre and a choice of restaurants, bars and pubs. This cosy cottage has all that you might need to have a lovely break. We live nearby, and will be on hand to help with anything you may need.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
