A quick walk to the beach or pond, you’re not too far away to run back for lunch or take an afternoon nap. Also, the house is fully heated and is suitable for the cooler months!

The Driftwood Cottage

The Driftwood Cottage has everything you and your family need for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Located on Deer Island, only a free 20 minute Ferry Ride from L’Etete or seasonal ferry from Campobello for a cost. Imagine drinking your coffee on the deck while watching the many ocean birds, deer, and seals. Beach comb for sea glass and driftwood on your private rocky beach, have a cozy bonfire in the fire pit, and fall asleep listening to the waves as the tides rise.

This is a seasonal 2-bedroom (4 people) cottage with water access and panoramic views of Straight Bay and islands. Very private with everything you need (frig, stove, kitchen utensils, washer/dryer, linens, fireplace) to enjoy your stay. Great place to use as base explore the Downeast area visiting lighthouses and many restaurants, whale watching or just staying put and exploring the woods, shore, and water surrounding this unique and tranquil cabin.

Cozy two bedroom (2nd bedroom has futon) camp on small quiet lake 15 minutes from town of Calais, ME. Full bath with shower, full kitchen with all utensils/cookware. Grill outside for grilling, also a small fire pit for cozy campfires at night. Enclosed porch to enjoy the sunset when the bugs are out. Water is drawn from the lake for showering and washing dishes. Bottled water supplied for drinking, making ice, coffee.
