The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. This ground floor one bedroom apartment (max 2 persons) is located at Buttermilk Lodge, just 5 minutes walk to Clifden town. It is self-catering (no meals included) and has a private entrance, a living area and fully equipped kitchen, with cooker , hob, grill, microwave, washer-dryer etc. The bedroom has lots of storage, a shower room with toilet. Bedlinen, towels, personal toiletries are provided. No children under 12.
