WELCOME Now open for 2026 and looking forward to greeting guests both new and old. Built under the guidance of a wheelchair using friend we have provided most, but not all, of the facilities to suit less mobile visitors, although everyone is more than welcome to stay with us. It is rustic themed and located around 5 mls (8km) from the A1 and 3 (5km) from the M62 motorway, with good road/rail and bus links. All our guests have the full private use of the detached annexe during their stay.

Stoney Middleton has a friendly pub, village chip shop, curry cottage and The Cupola, serving food etc. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Eyam and Grindleford are all nearby.

This recently refurbished detached holiday cottage with log burner is ideally placed to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the Three Peaks and provide a retreat to come home to at the end of your day. Every care has been taken with the design, to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

The Shippen, Old Low Moor Farm near Thirsk

Completed in July 2018, the Shippen is a two bedroom, two bathroom, luxury barn conversion with an open plan living/ dining/ kitchen. The Shippen is single storey and is wheelchair friendly. It is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North York Moors National Park but with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire coast. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement
