The home is located near Amish attractions, Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Strasburg all within a few minutes drive. 20 minutes to Downtown Lancaster. Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Welcome to The Barn on Fox Alley—a piece of history nestled in the heart of Lancaster city. The Barn on Fox Alley is a repurposed garage built in 1999, transformed into a magnificent Amish barn that pays homage to Lancaster county’s rich heritage. Step inside, and you'll find yourself immersed in the warmth and character of a bygone era. The spacious interior of the barn is meticulously adorned with hand-hewn reused floors and reclaimed barn wood throughout.

Cute, clean and cozy best describes this little house in the country. Minutes from PA turnpike, 222 and 272, you are set to be in Lancaster or Reading in under 30 min. Browse the antique shops in Adamstown or just take some time for yourself, throw some steaks on the grill and relax on the deck. We hope you find our little house a quiet place to unwind. Quaint, 1-bedroom, cottage built as a summer kitchen for the original farmhouse in 1740. First floor is an open concept with new appliances in the kitchen and a cozy living area with loveseat and dining table. Upstairs is the bedroom with a quaint full bathroom, featuring a shower (no bath option) with new flooring. *Please see house rules for non-negotiables, fees, etc. *

A walker’s paradise with plenty of restaurants, cafes, brew pubs, farmers market, galleries, and shops on nearby Penn Ave. Walk to Reading Hospital, this home is perfect for medical students, visiting staff, or a place to stay if a relative or friend is in the hospital.

Tucked into the woods of the Texter Mountain, our little home is a custom built modern getaway. Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat. We created this space as a place to be refreshed and rejuvenated and we hope it is all that, and more!
