The location is rural so you will need a vehicle or a local bus service is 1 mile away. The Local pub The Fountain Inn is the nearest pub opening from Thursday-Sunday and is a 20/30 minute walk away. We are Ideally situated on the Welsh border ideal for walkers, cyclists or a relaxing stay. Ideally situated for the ever popular Oldfield Forge.

Our beautifully fitted, spacious yurt with its own wood-fired hot tub is perfect for a romantic rural getaway with a Mongolian twist. Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the yurt is totally secluded and has open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. Set in the beautiful rural Herefordshire countryside, next to the Welsh borders, The Garden Cottage is approached over private tracks. (These are well maintained but please drive slowly). The cottage overlooks beautiful scenic farmland. Come and relax. The only sounds you hear are farm animals and bird song. The Garden Cottage is up on Ewyas Harold common, surrounded by its own land and the butterfly conservation fields. It is about half a mile away from the popular village of Ewyas Harold.

There is a private patio which is perfect for enjoying a coffee and taking in the Abbey and surrounding farmland.
