Come visit this adorable apartment in Butte, Alaska! With an amazing view of the breathtaking Pioneer Peak mountain in the backyard and the Matanuska River nearby, you will not regret spending time here. The upstairs unit is rustic, with custom made trim and wainscoting panels, the space has a log cabin feel. With decor to inspire one’s desire to explore and get in-tune with nature. It sleeps four comfortably, with a queen size bed in the bedroom and queen size mattress for extra guest to use.

This downstairs space of the duplex has many amenities that include but are not limited to a high-quality bed, heated floors, waterfall shower with stone floor, full kitchen for cooking, outdoor seating, shared outdoor fire pit (wood provided), beautiful grass yard, and more. The building is a duplex with a unit upstairs and a unit downstairs. It is likely you could hear upstairs guests, specifically during their water use when showering or washing laundry. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

We are surrounded by the Talkeetna and Chugach mountains on Gooding Lake; this central location is north on the Trunk Rd between Palmer and Wasilla, and close to Hatcher Pass, and Matanuska Glacier This quiet retreat has 5G, a FULL kitchen, laundry and is perfect for refreshing yourself in Alaska. Gooding Lake has a small sandy beach and float plane access. The canoe & kayaks are free to use.. Guests must walk up a full flight of steps.

Bent Prop efficiency

This is an efficiency unit in a 4plex, queen size bed, 12 foot ceiling, shower stall, internet, desk and chair, coffee center, not a kitchen, small fridge and microwave . It is on the ground level. We are close to town, 30 minutes from Hatchers pass, lots of hiking, golf 5 minutes away, local breweries. We work hard to give a safe clean environment to stay so please no smoking or pets. (At this time late check out or early check in is not available sorry for any inconvenience

Blue Ice Aviation Lounge

We call this the "Blue Ice Aviation Lounge". It is a private upstairs apartment in my hangar. The Lounge is modern, cozy, Alaskan, and very comfortable with a slight aviation theme. We have Skeetawk ski area, and the Government Peak Recreation Area within 15 min. GPRA has lighted ski trails and biking. This property is easily accessible, 30 minutes North of Anchorage and 30 minutes South from the MatSu Valley , just far enough to be out of the city, but still close to many amenities and excellent outdoor opportunities including hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing.
