Your hostess, Dorothy sailed the world with husband Derek. I am now comfortably settled in our shore-side residence. Come and be at home here. As the canal-front is unfenced, I am sorry, we cannot accept children.

We have two spacious, comfortable studio units tucked privately away in a garden setting on our 1400sqm property close to Whitianga's upgraded town centre, marina, supermarkets and The Warehouse. Beach, estuary, cafés, bars and eateries are also handy - everything is approximately within a 10-15 minute walk. The units have ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, Freeview TV, free wi-fi, a queen bed, indoor-outdoor flow with a garden outlook. Guest parking on-site.

Created with flair & love by its on-site hosts, offering the traveller a modern, luxury, self-contained option to busy motels/hotels ensuring a great nights sleep after a busy day. Centrally located, within a short walk to launch your kayak in one of the canals, or alternatively a short flat cycle or drive to gorgeous Buffalo beach, the town center with its assortment of cafes, restaurants, shops etc, only a couple of minutes commute.

Cooks Beach Studio Escape

Renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. Complete with kitchenette, located in the same space as bedroom (see pics) seperate bathroom across a small covered gangway and outdoor furniture on the rear of our reserve front property just a 2 min walk from the beach. Cosy, comfortable and clean 2 BDRM Bach. Short walk to town, estuary and ferry, less than 1 km to buffalo beach. Bach has a bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. Kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove, microwave and crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee, tea, sugar. Free wifi and Samsung Smart TV in the lounge. Heat pump for winter, fans for summer. Just a short walk to the hot mineral Lost Springs and the town centre and waterfront. Twin Palms self contained accommodation

Self contained stand alone accommodation in quiet street, parking right outside the unit. Close to estuary, an easy 15 minute flat walk to main street. Open plan living measuring 7m x 5.3m with queen sized bed. Living area, spacious bathroom, towels and soap provided. Kitchenette has sink, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwhich maker, fridge, jug, bistro style table and chairs. Coffee, tea, milk, and sugar supplied.
