You have the entire ground floor, a two-room suite with large window views of Mt. Hood & the Columbia River. Windsurfers, kiters & sailboats zip across the river right below the hot tub & patio. Level 2 EV charging station. The bedroom has a TV & comfortable queen bed. The TV room has a gas fireplace & 46-inch TV. Our food prep area has a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker & fridge. It does not have a sink or stove. White Salmon is 3/4 mile and Hood River is 2 miles, across the river.

Most comfortable for 2 guests, 3rd guest allowed with $25 fee/night.

This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Hood from the yard and lovely territorial views. At night, you can enjoy the beauty of a Milky Way sky far from city light pollution. Come. Enjoy. Relax. Home within 10 minutes to burgeoning small towns of White Salmon and Hood River. Lots of walking/hiking bike trails and water sports galore.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

Our 1920s cabin is nestled in the woods along the White Salmon River. 4 people max and be sure to read details about sleeping arrangements. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full bed are upstairs in each bedroom, and one full size couch is downstairs). A couple with 1-2 kids can easily work too. What doesn’t work are 4 adults who need to sleep separately - that means doubling up in one of the beds. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

We live on 10 acres of wooded property. It is a 12x12 space with a small refrigerator,microwave,toilet,sink & shower,queen bed.bed linens,kitchen ware,,coffee maker& a Keurig coffee maker. Also a small propane powered outside grill.The water is supplied by our well which has been tested as having the best drinking water in Klickitat County NO pets.WIFI to cabin. If you need additional space we have a treehouse for 2-3 people for $35
