Foley's Cottage - Restored 18th century Farmhouse.

Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. In addition, the cottage has all modern conveniences.

It’s like a look-out post to the elements – expansive skies meet earth and fields that slope to the sea. Blackhall and Bannow Island, within a five-minute drive, have long sandy beaches. The wonderful Tintern Abbey and Colcough Gardens are fifteen-minutes away, and Wexford town is twenty-five.
