Originally constructed in the early 1800's, the structure was built over a natural spring that was used for refrigeration. Water from the spring maintains a constant cool temperature throughout the year while also filling a pond. The original stone well, channel and stone flooring are all intact for guests to explore and experience how our ancestors lived.

Swing on the wrap around porch, or enjoy dinner on our 800 sq ft back patio. If adventure is more your thing, you will enjoy the walking trails, creeks and ponds. Guests will have exclusive access to the farmhouse and surrounding 2 acres. The remaining 27 acres is a working farm, with seasonal farm activity. Guests may explore the whole farm.

It is very close to Harpers Ferry, WV, Antietam National Battlefield, historic Sharpsburg, MD, the C&O canal and other local attractions. There are two levels to the home and the Chalet comprises all of the upper level, which includes everything you see in the pictures. The Chalet is open, modern, bright and includes a full bath, kitchenette with microwave, kitchen table seating 4, washer/dryer and sleeps 4 comfortably.
