This beautiful cottage is situated in an idyllic location; listen to the gurgling river as you sit on the decking or drift off to sleep. One minute's walk away over a Victorian swing bridge is an enchanting pebble beach. Here you may see seals, dolphins, salmon, and plenty of seabirds depending on the season. Ideally placed for the North Coast 500, this modernised cottage is warm and cosy with central heating and hot water provided by a biomass boiler, and a wood burning stove for cooler nights.

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a peaceful orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.
