Where comfort meets adventure. We are located blocks away from the local grocery, liquor store, restaurants and shopping. Three Nines Golf Course is around the corner. Arrah Wanna Trailhead is close and provides hiking and snowshoe trails that take guests into the Mt. Hood National Forest. When winter comes around, guests will have their pick of slopes at Mt. Hood Skibowl (just over 12 miles east), Timberline Lodge (20 miles east), and Mt. Hood Meadows (25 miles east).

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Enjoy the comforts of home in this cute and cozy A-Frame cabin, which offers both privacy and convenience to nearby activities! Located near The Resort at the Mountain, you're only 20 miles to Timberline Lodge and all of Mt. Hood's splendor. The Upper and Lower Salmon River Trailheads are just up the road, and a multitude of other hiking opportunities nearby.

Small & cozy cabin in the woods. Short walk to Zig Zag river. Well equipped to make you feel comfortable & a little spoiled. Amazing back covered porch makes enjoying the outdoor possible any time of year! Sleeping 6 will be VERY cozy, limited private sleeping areas. Queen bed in upstairs bedroom, Q bed downstairs in open bed cubby, and Q sleeper sofa.
