“The Burrow” is a self-contained cottage on a 100 acre wildlife sanctuary just 5km from the centre of Mittagong. Once you arrive, it's just you and a few hundred kangaroos and a wombat or two. On the Southern Highlands Wine Trail. A quiet and tranquil getaway. Compressed/recycled cement driveway, suitable for all cars. Native Ducks, Kookaburra's, Eastern and Crimson Rosellas, Kangaroos and Wombats in abundance. Wood fired heating or air conditioned and wi-fi (Star Link) connected.

This is a comfortable self-contained studio, formerly an actual artist's studio, underneath the main residence, with its own shower and toilet, as well as a kitchenette. It has a queen bed, a king single that doubles as a sofa, and a single trundle bed. It has a small dining table and four chairs. It now boasts a camping washing machine for light loads, and an airer, as well as a dehumidifier. I also added an air fryer!

As an added bonus we are located 15 minutes away from the Southern Highlands wineries and all that the Southern Highlands has to offer. We do not have WIFI.

Built in the 1870's/80’s, Welby Park Manor is one of the oldest homes in the Highlands. The Chapel is a freestanding sandstone guest cottage with private entry and outdoor area. The property is a two-minute drive from the Mittagong shops, a seven-minute drive to both Bowral and Berrima, and close to local wineries etc. Our guests come here to enjoy the country life in the Chapel of an historical home.
