This an open plan cabin with a queen bed, self contained indoor wood burning fire (wood provided), dining table and sofa. There is a small kitchenette with a kettle, coffee maker and toaster. 2 garbage bins, one for garbage and one for cans and bottles. Fire pit for cooking

Cozy Eco Cabin - Off Grid - Connected to Nature

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!

The EcoPur Charge hot tub filter uses copper and zinc to purify water and remove dirt, bacteria and algae so we can use less chemicals. There is also an outdoor propane fireplace to relax around. Inside enjoy a living area with TV, fireplace, and fully equipped kitchen. Down the hall find a bedroom with a queen log bed. Steps away is a very clean, heated outhouse.
