Rich in history, Wanchese is named after an Indian Chief and is home to numerous Boat Builders and Seafood Markets.

Creef Cottage is nestled in the heart of historic downtown Manteo, North Carolina on Roanoke Island, where there are boardwalks on the Albermarle Sound, bikepaths, shopping, and dining within walking distance.
