Just fifteen minutes south of Blenheim, Hares hut is a charming cottage set on 50 acres of river flat, terraces and hill. Cosy up next to the wood fire, relax on the verandah or explore the many tracks along the Taylor river and the hill. With vineyards, mountain bike tracks and the Marlborough Sounds nearby, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy our beautiful region. The cottage garden provides herbs for your use in the well equipped kitchen. We welcome dogs and can provide a horse paddock.

A private space WiFi, bathroom and limited kitchen Fridge, bench oven, crockery, cutlery. Sun soaked lounge opening over a shared native garden lush with nature. A three minute walk to village and restaurants. Haven for double or single stays providing a calm peaceful getaway . Self check in.

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.

Tranquil location set amongst beautiful established gardens with a serene outlook to picturesque vineyards. Just a short drive to Marlboroughs finest wineries, food and the glorious Marlborough Sounds. Blenheim town is 10 minutes drive, Picton ferry terminal is 20 minutes away, wineries just down the road and the Blenheim airport is 10 minutes away. Separate from the main house our private guest house is self contained and fully equipped, perfect for a couple or business person.

Rest & Relax

Rest and relax in your sunny private riverside studio apartment or explore the close vineyards that surround us and the beautiful Marlborough Sounds. The studio accommodates up to 4 people and is located in Renwick a 5 minute drive away from Blenheim Airport and 30 minutes drive to the Picton Ferry. A minimum stay for 2 nights is requested. However we can arrange for a one night stay for $20 more if you reach out to us.

The studio is located in a quiet neighbourhood on the city fringe, only a 10 minute walk into the local shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Enjoy the views and soak up the sun from your own private deck area or retreat inside and relax in style. Our studio is perfect for couples, solo adventurers or business travellers.
