Make sure to keep an eye though, as you're bound to see some wildlife!

We take pride in ensuring our place is clean, polished and comfortable. A 16 min walk to the Festival Theatre on Queen St. It is a pretty walk along the arboretum and Avon River. We have a well equipped kitchenette, and a high end Kreuig for your tea, coffee, and chai latte needs, all free of charge - also has a cold brew feature! Our basement suite is good for families, couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets). The suite has free parking and a private entrance.

The Tiny House is a private 9’ x 12’, fully insulated, 4 season cabin with a couch, kitchenette with running water, queen bed, Loftnet hammock & outdoor shower. Enjoy the natural beauty of our half acre tree-filled backyard, yet still close to downtown Guelph. This is a glamping experience that requires appreciation for tiny house living. Guests have access to a separate portable washroom, by walking about 100ft to the back of the yard.

A farm stay on your way to soaking up all that our county has to offer. The bunkie is located next to a restored century barn and an outdoor pool. The property is home to 5 alpacas, mini goats, chickens and our family dog. The bunkie is on a shared property with our home. It's 1 hour from Toronto, 20 minutes from Hamilton, 1-hour from Niagara-on-the-lake and 10 minutes from the historic Ancaster village. Antiquing, hiking, nature tours, golfing, wine tours, farmers markets and more close by.

Whether you're seeking a peaceful family getaway or a romantic escape, The River House has it all. Experience life on a tiny farm just outside the city! Stay in our charming and comfortable barn loft and wake up to the sounds of chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, goats and horses and our adorable Highland cows. Spend time watching or interacting with all the very friendly animals that surround the barn. You will meet all the animals as they all come up readily to anyone who visits the farm.
