Welcome to the Sea Star~ a cozy yurt you'll find bright, rustic, and well-kept in a rural Northwest neighborhood 5 miles from maritime Port Townsend. Yurts are round sturdy canvas structures. Ours has a full kitchen, queen sized bed, indoor powder room, attached shower room, a compact parking spot, and private deck in a temperate rainforest setting. Free of streetlights to enjoy stargazing. Pets welcome. Not suitable for small children or infants. Your hosts, Mark and Sara, live on the property.

This is a 700sf yurt. Ceilings rise to 14ft, with a large skylight in the centre leading to a light, airy feel. Amenities are basic, but the surrounding extraordinary. Yurt sleeps 4 for a relaxing and affordable 'Glamping' experience, sure to be much more tranquil than Tofino in July. Set on our family 5-acre hobby farm, you are surrounded by beauty and healthy living. Our neighborhood boast biking, hiking, horseback riding, wineries, swimming, paddle sports, quaint shops and fine dining.

*BOAT SHUTTLE- Complimentary 15-minute boat shuttle to Cape Carraholly Retreat- a water-access only property, strictly at 4 p.m. for check-ins and 10 a.m. for check-outs. DO NOT BOOK without prior approval of a different time ($100). We may change shuttle time by 1-2 hours, depending on volume of guests. Our brand-new Kingfisher Yurt features a king-size bed, skylight, panoramic views of the surrounding forest and ocean, outdoor kitchenette, propane fire pit, hot tub, and open-air shower.

Yurt camping in Doe Bay area

Relax in a spacious yurt on the side of Mount Pickett next to Moran State Park. Less than a five minute drive to Doe Bay Resort. Twelve miles past Eastsound on the Horseshoe Highway and 20 miles from the ferry landing. The yurt has an outdoor kitchen space with a camp stove and most of the utensils for preparing and serving food. There is an outdoor fire spot and a picnic table for outdoor relaxing and dining. There is also an outdoor shower and outhouse with a composting toilet.
